MOSCOVITCH MUSIC is a new record label created & curated by collector/producer and one half of duo QUIET VILLAGE, Joel Martin.
The label has been set up primarily to release lost film music from around the globe.
The first album will feature the unissued soundtracks to NORMAN J. WARREN'S UK horror masterpieces TERROR (1979) & PREY (1978), both composed and performed by library maverick IVOR SLANEY (famous for his cues on cult cartoon REN & STIMPY, Don Sharpe (PSYCHOMANIA) directed THE FACE OF FU MANCHU (1965) w. Christopher Lee, and a host of obscure shorts, TV dramas, films and radio shows like the legendary BBC radio comedy THE MEN FROM THE MINISTRY.
This ltd cd & lp will be released on July 6th 2009 but advance copies will also be available exclusively at the NORMAN J. WARREN tribute evening being held at the NFT on Friday 12th December 2008:
