MOSES - "driving rhythms and rising electronica combine with rock and roll and deleriously funky edging"
Moses are doing things a little differently than their biblical namesake. Joining parted musical genres to form their own unique sound which is truly heavenly.
The band have been together now for five years and over these years have worked extremely hard in honing their sound and taking their live performances to another level.
Put quite simply Moses have become somewhat of an enigma, with audiences, forever desirous of comparison, completely unable to pigeonhole the Moses sound. Indie, rock, dance, funk?
Driving rhythms and rising electronica combine with rock and roll and a deliriously funky edging. The result is a genre defying mix which recalls the best of The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, New Order, The Happy Mondays, The Primal Scream, The Stone Roses, The Charlatans and Oasis but leaves listeners aware of something fresh, something new: something called E Rock.
With a long history of gigs in Glasgow, Moses continue to work on perfecting their live experience while quality and innovation in the studio will no doubt be the cornerstone of their success.
In a music scene dominated by proponents of rock by numbers the Moses sound continues to evolve, avoiding cliche and providing a true alternative.

Whole Lotta Led, the UK's leading Led Zeppelin tribute act, are playing at the Classic Grand in Glasgow on Friday 15th August where they will be performing 'The O2 Set'.
More Information on the band can be found at their website and tickets for the show can be bought online now from TicketWeb, or from Tickets Scotland in Glasgow (under the bridge at Central Station).
Hey! How's the weather over there? I just want to let you know that i'm coming to the UK in late May/early June to play bass with Kevin Montgomery and Tommy Allsup. Tommy played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens. I figured that with you being a musician that you would really be able to appreciate this show.
We play a series of shows in Scotland....St. Andrews, Edinburgh, and Irvine (near Glasgow). I hope you can make one of those.
We won't be doing my material, but it is a really special show, and Tommy is a true rock'n'roll legend.
Anyway, take care and hope to see you there.
