Mosha Folger, born in Iqaluit, Nunavut, with roots in Vancouver, is the product of an Inuit mother and a Brooklynite father. A writer and performer, he has been a playwright participant at Weesageechak Begins to Dance; performed for her Excellency Michaelle Jean; and shared his "Eskimo-centric" brand of spoken word at various venues, including WestFest in Ottawa, the Railway Club in Vancouver, and the Alianait Arts Festival in Iqaluit. Mosha, a modern nomadic Inuk, has temporarily settled in Ottawa with his girlfriend and their dog, writing scripts, writing lyrics, writing poetry and writing himself off.
