His first successful album ‘Derekh’ (A Path) was released in 2004 and established Mosh as one of Israel’s foremost singer/songwriter. This album quickly made ‘gold record’.
2006 Mosh’s third album ‘Massa Umattan’ (Wondering and Sharing) made again great success with some wining hits and made ‘gold record’ too, followed by a successful tour for over two years.
Mosh is a pioneer in bringing the’ world music scene’ to the main stream in Israel.
Born in Israel in 1970. Coming from a Yemenite/Russian and Iraqi background. Mosh first discovered music as a child through the traditional Jewish and ethnic chants that were part of his everyday life.
In 1997, Mosh Ben Ari founded together with friends, the world music ensemble ‘SHEVA’. They released 4 albums and continue touring the world, playing dozens of shows in the most prestigious festivals & events.
His hit ‘Salaam’ (Peace) with the band was translated and performed by artists and choirs internationally.
Mosh Ben Ari’s music and performances are the celebration of groove & spirit, blending rock, soul, reggae, world music and above all, his rich and unique voice that melts the hearts of so many all around the world.
