Today, when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the best day ever. There are times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but I did! And because I did I am going to celebrate! Today, I am going to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far; the accomplishments, the many blessings and yes, even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger. I will go through this day with my head held high and a happy heart. I will marvel at God's seemingly simple gifts: the morning dew, the sun, the clouds, the trees, the flowers, the birds. Today, none of these miraculous creations will escape my notice. Today I will share my excitement for life with other people. I will make someone smile. I will go out of my way to perform and unexpected act of kindness for someone I don't even know. Today I will give a sincere compliment to someone who seems down. I will tell a child how special he is and I will tell someone I love just how deeply I care for them and how much they mean to me. Today is the day I quit worrying about what I don't have and start being grateful for all the wonderful things God has already given me. I will remember that to worry is just a waste of time because my faith in God and his Divine Plan ensures everything will be just fine. And tonight before I go to bed, I will go outside and raise my eyes to the heavens. I will stand in awe at the beauty of the stars and the moon, and I will praise God for these magnificent treasures. As the day ends and I lay my head down on my pillow, I will thank God for the best day ever. And I will sleep the sleep of a contented child, excited with expectation becasue I know that tomorrow is going to be the best day ever!!!!!!!

Now a little about me.......I am a full time student at IUS in the Nursing Program...I want to help others, no matter what it takes. I also believe that God is going to lead me other places than just Nursing, He is going to use me to do some work for Him.

I have just recovered from an eight year illness of Multiple Sclerosis, which God has totally healed me from on November 1, 2008. So when I say I treasure life, I mean it from the depths of my soul. I love to dance, sing, anything that makes me and others smile.... I live by a few simple rules....
1)Give your life to Christ..let your life revolve around Him!!
2) Dance anytime you get the chance.
3) Smile even when you don't feel like it.
4) Deeply, truly, and faithfully love the ones you love.
5) Never take one day for granted.
6) Live each day as if it were your last.
7) Don't speak unkind words to or about anyone, once the words are spoken you can't take them back. And the best rule ever.
8) GET UP AND LIVE LIFE!!!!!!,don't let any kind of disability, bad event, or pain in your life keep you from living!!
This life may be hard sometimes but it is a life worth living! God gave you life, it pleases Him to see you enjoy it.......Get out there and live!!!!!

Who I'd like to meet: My Lord and savior. I can only imagine how it will feel to lay my head down on His chest and feel the comfort of His arms wrapped tightly around me. It will be the best day of my life. When I do finally make it to that place don't morn for me...celebrate....celebrate the life I lived and keep my hopes and dreams for the world going....LOVE ONE ANOTHER, the way Christ loves each of us!!!! Thats what I want to be remembered for!!! When I do pass from this earth and stand in the presence of God, I want God to be able to say to me....."Well done, good and faithful servant!...." Before I was a Mom I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. OR Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night. Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests. Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put them down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. Before I was a Mom I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.
