  • I met Henry Rollins after a show in PA. It was fucking awesome!

Who I'd like to meet:

People who have some level of intelligence. Not just book smarts but street smarts. There are some people who make me feel dumber after talking to them. I'm hoping to find the ones who make me feel more enlightened after a good conversation.

Your true home is in the here and the now. It is not limited by time, space, nationality, or race. Your true home is not an abstract idea. It is something you can touch and live in every moment. With mindfulness and concentration, the energies of the Buddha, you can find your true home in the full relaxation of your mind and body in the present moment. No one can take it away from you. Other people can occupy your country, they can even put you in prison, but they cannot take away your true home and your freedom.-Thich Nhat Hanh

Yeah I guess so, but here they proved that LOA's are just a piece of paper, the people who are on ROD squad also known as the dirt bags who are awaiting getting either kicked out or Article 15's are getting LOA's for going to mandatory things that the chief makes them attend since they can't be on flight. So I disregard them although I have a few myself but seeing thing get them made me lose all interest, but that sucks that you failed out bro I know the feeling. EOD is hard shit and I know you were doing real well last time we talked, hopefully things will start to improve eh.
I sucked it up, hydrated and pressed on lol

how have you been bro, been a while since I last seen you eh.
Hopefully your kicking ass doing what you do =P 2nd LOA eh must be nice, I got 3 so far but I think it's pointless unless it's going to help me get BTZ, but as for me out here in New Mexico it's not all that bad and I'm doing kickass I think within our flight and maybe squadron I got like the highest QC scores which was nice I could have had higher but I marked the wrong answer on the test and I was pissed 2 100's a 96 and 88 but that 88 was for weapons and I guess even at a 7 level you wouldn't learn it so it's all good

I'm trying for the navy. I'd love to be a navy diver or anything closely related. My health background is a major hurdle, though. My recruiter is fighting to get me in, but if he can't he says the air force is more intellectual and less concerned with a physical history if I qualify for a non-physical assignment. As long as I can beat myself through boot camp, that is. I'm at the gym with a trainer 5 days a week, so I think I'll be up to speed in time.
How are things going your way? The service treating you well? You look fantastic! I hope I can get half as well trained! The triathalon you were in was an acheivement I don't think I'll ever be able to pull off!!

Wish you were here man. I've been feeling in the mood for shenanigans lately just to pick up my state of mind a bit.
