I enjoy art (specifically watercolors), animals of all kinds, and helping others (because it makes me feel good too.) We have a menagerie around our house. A half dozen feral cats (that we've caught and gotten fixed) hang out at our house for food and shelter on the porch. Everything from skunks to raccoons visit on a nightly basis. Deer run through our yard all the time. I have two Chihuahuas myself, and my son (staying with me now that he's finished college and is job hunting) has 3 cats that have made themselves right at home. I enjoy traveling as long as the family can go with me. Too often, my job takes me away from home. But now that we have an RV... hey, I'm happy to go somewhere every week! My little dogs love it, and I can read while hubby drives. For entertainment, though, nothing beats going to the movies!
Movies
Kick ass action movies, funny movies, horror movies... as long as they're not chic flicks, I'll like them.
Television
Right now, I really love Dexter, Californication, and Entourage. I soooo miss my all-time favorite: Deadwood!
Books
Mostly romances - but I like historicals more than contemporaries, I guess because I write contempts.
Heroes
Volunteers everywhere. Where would we be without them? If govt would step out of people's lives, volunteers would step in more, and we'd all be better off without the red tape. The world is filled with good, generous people who are disillusioned by the idiocy of the govt's idea of "help." Govt enabling will cripple this country. Let the churches and the volunteers take over - they're better at determining who REALLY needs help, and who needs a swift kick in the behind.
You Should Be a Romance Novelist
You see the world as it should be, and this goes double for all matters of the heart.
You can find the romance in any situation, and you would make a talented romance story writer...
And while you may be a traditional romantic, you're just as likely to be drawn to quirky or dark love stories.
As long as it deals with infatuation, heartbreak, and soulmates - you could write it.
You are a kind, sensitive, and giving person.
And all your good deeds will pay off - if they haven't already.
But you're not so concerned with what you get in return anyway.
You have an innate caring nature - and nothing can change that!
You are a very happy person. Generally, you feel content and that all is right with the world.
Occasionally, you have a down day - but you have the ability to pick yourself right back up.
Who I'd like to meet:
I'd LOVE to meet some of the guys from the UFC - specifically Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Wanderlei Silva, Mike Swick, Georges St. Pierre, Andrei Arlovski, and Chuck Liddell - but also a handful of other fighters. The UFC is the greatest sport there is.
