Think this hippie bollox will stay in my sky filled Heart till the last beat... absolute madness.
A Mostly Autumnish album, the guitar work is amazing, Bryan was more as capable to take the best of David Gilmour & Richie Blackmore and get it mixed in a heavenly soaring play.
And our dear Heather has laid down some great warm, low, sensual vocals on several tracks... the best she ever did!
Chris Johnson has put in all his skills of his sound factory that he has devollepped as sound engineer and musician.
And the rest of the band rocks: Angela with her gorgeous flute play, Liam on guitar, Andrew on drums, Andy on his rambling bass, Troy on Ulliean Pipes (a Deep Purple song with Ulliean Pipes, mad!), Peter Knight on violins (excellent play), Olivia with some great vocals, Anne Marie Helder with some backing vocals and at last a big hoera for the engineer Will B..
Emotional epics, rocking songs, catchy tunes, powerful acoustic musings, it's all in there.
Art work? If I say Rembrandt and Chris Walkden the photographer, can you imagine something??? Beautiful.
And again; when I heard that album my Heart was filled with the Sky that was painted by the famous Dutch painters in the Golden era....

In my free time i try to book and promote bands from the U.K.:
Mostly Autumn; a 7 piece prog-rock-band; "Celtic Pink Floyd", great guitar work a la David Gilmour & Ritchie Blackmore, flute, whistles, bodhran and lovely vocals from Heather Findlay and Bryan Josh.
The Reasoning; multi layered vocals, heavy guitar work and own fresh Rocky sound. A very promising band with good looks and catchy heavy tunes.
And sometimes i help other bands like Gazpacho from Norway and or the German sensation RPWL.

PS: 30 May 2006; we actually saw Arnold Layne, we, my wife and me ;-) seated at the 3th row in the Royal Albert Hall, and there came dear David Bowie performing Arnold Layne during a Daivd Gilmour gig. And yes it was unforgetable! So we didn't actually met, but it came close...
Troy, we, met the last time in August 2009 in Eindhoven. A cozy folkfestival, he was there playing with the Bad Shepherds. They play punk and new wave covers on an acoustic way; uillian pipes, violin, guitars! Very good and very surprising.
We my whole family had such a great time, colourful people, peaceful, cozy, and folky tunes... Troy kept us company and we had fun ;-)
Matthew & Rachel, (finally we met again at the Point in Cardiff; 24th of February 2005) (and again on a great day in November and again 4 days in January 2008) and and.

That Monty Python sketch actually is the source of the term Spam as synonym for unwanted messages that disturb communication.

Yep, ich weiß, du machst die Buchungen für Mostley Autumn und ich finde deinen 'Spam Comment' völlig in Ordnung.....dass dein Deutsch nicht perfekt ist, finde ich besonders charming und klingt super nett!!!!!! Damit kannst du auch ohne weiteres über die Grenzen von NRW hinaus spammen ;)....ich habe übrigens bis vor 5 Jahren in NRW gewohnt...meine Heimat! Solltest du aber mit deinem Deutsch mal nicht zufrieden sein, sag bescheid, ich bessere das gern ein bischen für dich aus. Ich würde aber den Kommentar so lassen....wie gesagt...dein Deutsch is very charming

Ik zou je een goed weekend willen wensen, maar het weekend is weer voorbij... Dan maar een goede week.
De Mandalaband is niet helemaal mijn ding.
Ik heb laatst nog de drie eerste CD's van Marillion gekocht in dubbelelpee hoesjes. LOL. Veel plezier met Pete Trewavas. Of had je dat interview met hem al gehad?

Je spamt maar lekker verder:-)
Ik moet nog steeds een beetje bijkomen van een metal dag gisteren. 16 metal bands, op nog geen 50 meter afstand lopen. (Tattoo Fest Twente) Heel wat (voor mij dan he) nieuwe bands mogen ontdekken gisteren. Headliners Trail of Tears + Stream of Passion maakten de dag helemaal compleet. Kan niet anders zeggen dan dat ze live erg goed zijn!
Nu even wat rust nemen tot aan het volgende concert;-)
