Roger Keith (Syd) Barrett - 6th January 1946 to 7th July 2006

Mmm I'm not a big movie watcher;
* The Life of Bryan - Monthy Phyton,
* Lord of the Rings (both) - Peter Jackson, (one of my favourite books),
* The Wall - Alan Parker, absolute fabulous, Bob Geldoff who's hardly speaking... , the music, excellent,
* De Tweeling / the Twins a Dutch movie about the holocaust, tear breaking,
* Fahrenheit 9/11 - Michael Moore (yes, this is the world we live in),
* Trainspotting - an English B-film, anti-drugs, an eye opner for our youngsters, a sort of Christiane F.,
* 24 hours party people, another English production, a film about Tony Wilson, the Joy Divission, Happy Mondays, New Order, funny, authentic shots, the madness of our high school time...
* Oceans 11 - with the great cast, a funny, fast action movie with some hilarious acts.
* The Green Miles - with Paul Hanks as head guard on Death Row with John Coffee (M.C.Duncan) & Mr.Jingles.
* Pulp Fiction - Quentin Tarantino and of course more of him... .
David Gilmour; Remember that Night Live!

This lyric is not to be ment provocative, it's just a doubt that people are allowed to have.
And for me the whole songs reflects my mood and feelings, sorry for all the believers out there if i offend you, that's not what i want.

Nick

Newsletter Feb 2009; David Gilmour, Mostly Autumn, the Reasoning, Patrick Moraz, After Forever, Keith Emmerson, Mangrove, Nightwish and more and more.
Kalle Walners (Blind Ego) new album.
In my free time i try to book and promote bands from the U.K.:
Mostly Autumn; a 7 piece prog-rock-band; "Celtic Pink Floyd", great guitar work a la David Gilmour & Ritchie Blackmore, flute, whistles, bodhran and lovely vocals from Heather Findlay and Bryan Josh.
The Reasoning; multi layered vocals, heavy guitar work and own fresh Rocky sound. A very promising band with good looks and catchy heavy tunes.
And sometimes i help other bands like Gazpacho from Norway and or the German sensation RPWL.

Jeeemie i'm shocked, had tears in my eyes during Wish You Were Here.
Sad, sad....
My prayers are for his familie and his friends all around the world.
Shine on Richard.
The last time i saw him.
"Remember a Day" written and sung by Richard Wright ('67).
Remember a day before today
A day when you were young.
Free to play alone with time
Evening never came.
Sing a song that can't be sung
Without the morning's kiss
Queen - you shall be it if you wish
Look for your king
Why can't we play today
Why can't we stay that way
Climb your favorite apple tree
Try to catch the sun
Hide from your little brother's gun
Dream yourself away
Why can't we reach the sun
Remember that Day live in France, ages ago.
Remember that Day live at Jools Holland, September 2008.
PS: 30 May 2006; we actually saw Arnold Layne, we, my wife and me ;-) seated at the 3th row in the Royal Albert Hall, and there came dear David Bowie performing Arnold Layne during a Daivd Gilmour gig. And yes it was unforgetable! So we didn't actually met, but it came close...

Hi Nick,
