    Best cd of 2009?
    Yeah i think this one:

The Madness of Crowds of Troy Donockley!!! A really sublime album. A cross-over of Celtic tunes, with classical variations and dark deep dark tunes. With three of the most beautiful voices of this spectrum...

Mostly Autumn: Pass the Clock (3 cd's!)
Breathing Space - Below the Radar.

Newsletter ; David Gilmour, Mostly Autumn, the Reasoning, RPWL, Mangrove, Nightwish and more and more.

    .. ..

Oeps I forgot my dear friends from York:

    .. HEART FULL OF SKY
    MOSTLY AUTUMN
    .

Think this hippie bollox will stay in my sky filled Heart till the last beat... absolute madness.
A Mostly Autumnish album, the guitar work is amazing, Bryan was more as capable to take the best of David Gilmour & Richie Blackmore and get it mixed in a heavenly soaring play.
And our dear Heather has laid down some great warm, low, sensual vocals on several tracks... the best she ever did!
Chris Johnson has put in all his skills of his sound factory that he has devollepped as sound engineer and musician.
And the rest of the band rocks: Angela with her gorgeous flute play, Liam on guitar, Andrew on drums, Andy on his rambling bass, Troy on Ulliean Pipes (a Deep Purple song with Ulliean Pipes, mad!), Peter Knight on violins (excellent play), Olivia with some great vocals, Anne Marie Helder with some backing vocals and at last a big hoera for the engineer Will B..
Emotional epics, rocking songs, catchy tunes, powerful acoustic musings, it's all in there.
Art work? If I say Rembrandt and Chris Walkden the photographer, can you imagine something??? Beautiful.
And again; when I heard that album my Heart was filled with the Sky that was painted by the famous Dutch painters in the Golden era....
Looking forward to hear it again and again and discover all the layers that are hidden into this masterpiece of this band from York. The best I heard in years! Absolute madness.

New Live dates for the UK here!

    * Oceans 11 - with the great cast, a funny, fast action movie with some hilarious acts.
    * The Green Miles - with Paul Hanks as head guard on Death Row with John Coffee (M.C.Duncan) & Mr.Jingles. * Pulp Fiction - Quentin Tarantino and of course more of him... .

you'll never be forgotten
you're always on my mind
i look into the mirror
a good friend is hard to find
would anyone please tell me
if all was fixed before
this year spring comes to early
'cause god has failed once more

the pictures I have found
you're face looks still the same
whenever I'm asleep
my heart will call your name
to tell about your life
is all I can do for you
your end has come to early

rpwl / as god has failed.

This lyric is not to be ment provocative, it's just a doubt that people are allowed to have.
And for me the whole songs reflects my mood and feelings, sorry for all the believers out there if i offend you, that's not what i want.

Love & Peace,
Nick

Music lover, like to have long walks and visit bands, married and we've the pleasure to have two kids, who grow up to quicke (18 and 13 years young ;-)

In my free time i try to book and promote bands from the U.K.:
Mostly Autumn; a 7 piece prog-rock-band; "Celtic Pink Floyd", great guitar work a la David Gilmour & Ritchie Blackmore, flute, whistles, bodhran and lovely vocals from Heather Findlay and Bryan Josh.
The Reasoning; multi layered vocals, heavy guitar work and own fresh Rocky sound. A very promising band with good looks and catchy heavy tunes.
And sometimes i help other bands like Gazpacho from Norway and or the German sensation RPWL.

    Richard Wright passed away.
    (July 28, 1943 - September 15, 2008)

Jeeemie i'm shocked, had tears in my eyes during Wish You Were Here.
    Sad, sad....
My prayers are for his familie and his friends all around the world.
    Shine on Richard.

The last time i saw him.

"Remember a Day" written and sung by Richard Wright ('67).

    Remember a day before today
A day when you were young.
Free to play alone with time
    Evening never came.
Sing a song that can't be sung
    Without the morning's kiss
Queen - you shall be it if you wish
    Look for your king
    Why can't we play today
Why can't we stay that way
    Climb your favorite apple tree
    Try to catch the sun
Hide from your little brother's gun
    Dream yourself away
Why can't we reach the sun

Remember that Day live in France, ages ago.
Remember that Day live at Jools Holland, September 2008.

    Who I'd like to meet:

You, out there (in the cold ;-)!

David Gilmour, Troy Donockley and Arnold Layne...

PS: 30 May 2006; we actually saw Arnold Layne, we, my wife and me ;-) seated at the 3th row in the Royal Albert Hall, and there came dear David Bowie performing Arnold Layne during a Daivd Gilmour gig. And yes it was unforgetable! So we didn't actually met, but it came close...

Troy, we, met the last time in August 2009 in Eindhoven. A cozy folkfestival, he was there playing with the Bad Shepherds. They play punk and new wave covers on an acoustic way; uillian pipes, violin, guitars! Very good and very surprising.
We my whole family had such a great time, colourful people, peaceful, cozy, and folky tunes... Troy kept us company and we had fun ;-)
Matthew & Rachel, (finally we met again at the Point in Cardiff; 24th of February 2005) (and again on a great day in November and again 4 days in January 2008) and and.
    Yeah i would like to meet this guys playing in that venue here above;
    Postle, Chris,
    Wallner, Kalle,
    Lang, Yogi,

      Hi Nick,

Erica.

Mooi dat je genoten hebt, Nick. In de Boer waren 150 man binnen.

      Hans
