About me:
Well, I have lived, loved, lost, not neccessarily in that order. I have made some wrong choices in my life, had some uncontrollable events happen, taken risks, but I believe in taking risks. Who can say they have lived or live if they don't take risks?
I am a self proclaimed philanthropologist, I love humanity, the study of humanity, what makes us different and indifferent at the same time.
I have survived alot of trials and struggles in my life.
I have been clean off the mind altering drugs for 16 years now, took a detour into the sauce after 7 years clean but have been off the sauce now for 5 years, no desire to go back. I have my guilty, worldly pleasures, media being my biggest. Coffee is my drug of choice. I still go to meetings and belong to a FourSquare church in Auburn. I believe that drug addiction is a spiritual disease, but one that can be overcome by choice. It takes desire, diligence, committment, oceans of love and support, and lastly the most important one; humility.
I have an 11 year old daughter who I adore, the sun rises and sets on her, she is a gift I cherish. I find peace at the ocean, with my daughter, in church, with my friends, and with music. I am always looking for a balance of work and play in my life. I work hard and continue to do better, strive harder, and dream bigger. I don't limit myself and or take leftovers. I believe anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I believe everyone has potential despite your educational background or disabilities. I believe we all have special and unique gifts and we are not to keep them to ourselves, but teach one another the knowledge each of us posses.
I seek many things both imagined and real. :) I actually would like to go to college the rest of my life and accomplish an MBA/PhD, and forget the working for a living idea. :) ha ha but, in all honesty I like learning and asking questions. I do love to work with Non-Profit companies ie: "The Bread of Life Mission" in Pioneer Square. I have worked with children, elderly, International Students, and adolescents. Serving others is what makes me happy in life. I also like stimulating my mind, and being challenged. I would like to eventually work in Higher Education with an emphasis on International Studies or Global Studies as a student Activity Director.
I seek financial stability for myself, to travel, to create a safe and comfortable home, accumulate some muscle cars along the way, to finish my education, to provide an education for my daughter, to give as much as I take, to leave a legacy, a memory, a reminder of trust, honesty, and diligence.
I am quirky, a little neurotic, obssesive compulsive about some things like this myspace thing, and as you can tell alot of "run on sentences"! ha ha I am trying to get my page to look decent. I am working on the tables, making the "lists" into their own tables within a table, and less clutered. Ha ha, I am a minimalist, I like to live simpler with less, I am happy with less, despite how much clutter is on my page. I like things that defy all logic, things or events that cannot be explained. I like conundrums, double entendres :), paradox's, brain twisters, puzzles, things you cannot prove, touch, or taste.
I love to laugh ALOT! I have been told I am very funny. I mainly make fun of myself. I should have moved to New York to be an actor or comedian, but I never did. However, I can be very serious about my work, projects, things I believe in, but I do prefer to make fun of life's idiosyncrasies.
Where I don't want to be? IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!!
I am realist, an idealist, am optomist, and any other word ending in "ist" :), a dreamer, a lover, a thinker, I love to conceptualize with people. I do very much respect others views. I want to surround myself with people no matter what race or religion who just "love", who have compassion for others, who will take risks to do something they know is right.
My turn offs are disrespect, people who lack humility or modesty, molesters, predators, users, manipulators, players, pedifiles, or violence towards humanity.
I am a Comtemporary Christian and do practice Christian beliefs and wish more people would. I believe that we should treat others the way we want to be treated. I believe in selfless random acts of kindness, and strongly believe the world would be a better place if we all just helped each other out without any possibility of pay back of any kind. I believe in Karma, living a healthy lifestyle, rocking out, loving, taking care of what you have, planning for your future, the bible, that changing the world starts with one person, your life history/experiences doesn't define who you are it only helps to mold you, the benefit of the doubt, not all the wandering are lost, love and forgiveness above all, no false pretenses, if you follow your heart you are never wrong, encouraging others, supporting others; lift them up, trying new things, being silly, watching sunsets and sinking my toes in sand.
I am in love with love. I live for love, passion and desire, without it I am nothing.
