Rock and roll, baby!!!! Honestly, my bedroom walls kind of look like a who's who of emo music. Heh.
I have quite varied tastes though. Like a bit of 'pop' sometimes.
    (But no rap please.)
    (Or songs about 'bootys'.)
    (I am serious.)
    (There's no need for that.)

William Francis of the band Aiden. Although I disagree with a lot of his views I have always had great respect for him. 25th September 2009 I met him for the very first time which I can honestly say was one of the greatest moments of my life so far.

Billie Joe Armstrong. His music totally changed my life forever and I will always be grateful.

Oh, and of course, these guys...

About me:

My name is Sophie, I'm 18, aerodynamically curvaceous and a little bit eccentric. I know far too much about bands and far too little about time and money management. I'm a self-confessed theatre nerd and I like music, bands, comedy and books. I dislike a variety of vegetables, Tess Daly and the wait between bands at gigs. I have a bizarre sense of humour, have sarcastic tourettes (Meaning that if someone accidentally sets me up for a sarky remark, I HAVE TO SAY IT. I CAN'T STOP MYSELF.) and will probably get on with you unless you are a twat. You'll probably think my music tastes are terrible, my taste in films and TV even worse and the way I dress takes the biscuit. I am famous at college for my trousers. I'll say no more.

Who I'd like to meet:

Billie Joe Armstrong
Mike Dirnt
Ed Robertson
Nick Wiggins
Katy Perry
Noel Fielding

I have met: William Francis, Lawrence Renee, Gabe Saporta, Mikey Serpico (x2), Alex Makhlouf and Nate Flynn

    Good idea.
    Possible tshirt slogans:

    Cliff Blood Nightmare
Bridge of Richard, Cliff of Faith
    Cliff Becomes the Dream
    Cliff Will Love You
    Teenage Cliff

I think we're onto something here.

We're definitely lucky to have so many bands come to the UK and play. I'm loving how much The Mission District are touring right now, for sure!
  • Jun 29 2009 8:49 PM

Yeah seriously! The whole band are itching to come back over here (and so they should!). I want to try and get to more shows next time. Hopefully they'll do at least one down in the Pompey area. :]
  • Jun 29 2009 8:41 PM

Yay UK fans. I'm so excited for when $$ come back over here. No idea when that will be, but hopefully before Christmas!

I know Pompey quite well; I have a couple of friends who've just graduated from the uni there.

Britain FTW. I'm half way between Birmingham and London. :]
  • Jun 29 2009 8:34 PM

Aaah! I feel under pressure now to make it awesome, lmao. Let me know if there's anything particular you want to see (other than a bio / lyrics / videos / iphone wallpapers). I *should* be able to make it happen. I can't guarantee anything, but I'm pretty good at what I do, haha.
  • Jun 29 2009 8:30 PM

haha, that made me laugh and then my mum gave me a very confused expression. Thanks sophs! =)
  • May 2 2009 4:28 PM

haha, now that would be the concert of the century!
They'd officially go down as the band that nobody could ever top. Well...until someone figures out how to play on Pluto. But that won't happen for a good while.
