Portland, Oregon artist, Motaz, brings you a variety of R&B, Soul, and Blues on his 2009 self-titled debut album. The album was recorded in Portland by young and aspiring producer Jeff Bond. Every instrument and vocal take on the album was written and performed by Motaz himself. With a release date set early summer, Motaz has big plans for the year and will win the heart of listeners of all styles around the world. The album has it all, with the opening track, "Fantasy", an upbeat jazz piano melody backed by a brass section and catchy hooks. To club songs such as "Closer" and "Let Her Know". With an ending guitar riff on "All The Way", the album takes a turn into the bluesy live band feel with songs like "See You Go Down" and Work It Out". To settle it down, blues ballads like "Coming Through" and "Goodnight" ease your way to the end of the album. Be on the look out for big things in the next year for Motaz, and get a hold of the new album when it drops. You won't be disappointed.
