Motel Records began with George Brooks of My High Society recording songs with some crappy gear in his garage. His label was cleverly titled "Garage Band Records" in an attempt to connect with no-frills musicians. Eventually, he spent all the money he had on buying better recording gear to add to his collection. One day, George and Chris Bowman of Fake Superiority decided to combine their two studios and their equipment into one awesome record label, Motel Records. We now have 3 studios: One located in Westlake Village, two in Calabasas. One studio is dedicated to digital instruments. Our mission is to provide very affordable, quality recordings for bands that are just starting out, on a budget, or want to record a quick demo or two. Hey! We'll even record your first song at no cost to you. This is a limited time offer, so act fast! Only, I Can't Be Everything, and Bullet were recorded in George's studio without most of the gear he has now. Let's Not Get Ahead of Ourselves was recorded at Chris's studio with George's mics and Chris's instruments (That's right! We can go to your house!). Thanks for listening!
