BIO

MOTHER DIRT are a heinous concoction of hardcore punk-grind; crusty necro doom, thrashing wildly like a flailing horse. We thrive on a challenge, trying to push the boundaries of what we sound like; braving blizzards and giant rats, we create the unearthly noise in a cow-shed. Started in 2008 by ex-members of PUSHMEUNDER (KKKK-KERRANG MAGAZINE),DEACON BIRCH and DEORUM CULTUS, with a lineup consisting of two guitars, bass, vocals and drums. We recorded our first self realease demo (Make of it what you will) in 2009 with a glitch intro and samples by bassist Rich Nichols. We recorded an impromptu live set at the Purple Turtle in Camden, which we also released as a digital download. We are also involved in a midlands based compilation cd, put together by Neil Baily. It is to be released on BAD EGG RECORDS. Including tracks from artist such as: Bee stung lips, Doom patrol, Human hands, Fuck your haircut, Mills and boon, Mothertrucker, Health and efficiency, Das bastard, Calvavdos and Stinky Wizzleteat.
