"the soundtrack to a sloppy passion killing," (Manchester Resident)
"Its about half eleven by the time Burnst (???) come on, from the little I’ve heard of them and a few murmurs between the other bands tonight I’m looking forward to seeing what they actually have to offer. The guitarist and bassist have an awkward feel about them as they set up, and they have to wait around a bit for the drummer to reappear from somewhere but unfortunately the awkward feeling continues throughout the set.
Considering they’re probably making the best music of the night they don’t seem to be getting much from it, in fact they seem to be actually glued to the floor. They’re focused so entirely on the layers of sound they’re making that they have forgotten that there is actually a crowd there." (Katie Goates, shefbase.com)
That probably sums us up better than I ever could.
If anyone would like to offer us a gig outside Manchester we would be very happy. If you want a copy of a CDR containing demo versions of the songs above as well as a few other tracks then give us your address and we’ll send you one. If it takes ages then send us messages to nag us because we are slow and useless.
