Defined as something of Size, Big, Larges of Large.
Just a few words to describe Mother Load the Band, the Sound.
A five piece unit coming out of the Motor City. Formed in the fall of '96, when the other projects that the members were involved in fell through the cracks of the Music Scene. We emerged, Mother Load.
In under a year, the band has managed to roll over the Detroit Club Scene with a tight, powerful live show.
Winning the Skoal Music Competition allowing them to play one of Detroit's Premier concert venues, Pine Knob, along with such national acts as Queensryche, Tesla, Dokken, & Lynyrd Skynyrd, and release a five song EP, which to-date has sold over 500 units, with little distribution, other than live shows and strong radio response.
With the release of Control, the band's first full-lenth album, Mother Load is poised and set to conquer new ground, with a harder edged sound, breaking new barriers.
Cuts like Vibe, Down, and Freedom show the energy the band posses, both on record, and live.
With Only One, and the Unplugged Version of Sanctuary, Mother Load confronts the opposite end of the emotional spectrum.
Armed with strong sound, and a powerful live show, Mother Load is picking up steam, and ready to roll.
