Bio:

At one time Swedish rockqueen Erika was married to Yngwie Malmsteen, a fact alone guaranteeing her international attention.
However - Erika´s vocals and songswritinga abilities combined with her fine choice of producers, musicians and co-writers, resulting in five excellent albums, together with her spectacular live shows, made her the Swedish rockqueens of the 90s, with great success in other countries such as Japan and Germany as well. 

Her glamourous private life among the high and mighty of heavy metal and her razorsharp tounge, resulting in several (in)famous quipps, made her the darling of the tabloids


Hailing from Skellefteå in northern Sweden, Erika recorded her first album for the Lionheart label. The album "Cold winter night" , selling quadruple platinum with today´s standards, featured songs written by Erika and prominent Swedish songwriters such as Bobby Ljunggren.

"Together we're Lost" gave her a no.one hit in Sweden and several other songs, such as "Hurting So Bad" and "Heavenly", also charted high.

That was followed by "In the arms of a stranger" and "Lady Luck", featuring hit singeles such as "Wake me up when the house is on fire" written by Vic Ponti & Jack Pepe, the team behind Alice Cooper, and "Lost In Paradise" a duet with Jan Johansen to name but a few.

"Planet X" gave us "Super sonic city"and "Ripe" presented "Blank generation" and catered for her burgeoning following in Japan.

Erika bowed out in 2001, announcing her retirement in front of a live audience of 10,000 people. A compliation of her two latest albums was released in 2001 and she continued writing songs for other artist. (For example; Jan Johansson won the Swedish pre-selection for the Eurovision song contest with the song "Se på mig". The original lyrics for the song, titled "Another night", was written by Erika. She wrote "Ingen annan väg" , with among others Peo Thyren whos band "B.I.G" performed the song Swedish pre-selection of ESC. The song finished number two. Also, she co-wrote songs with ex-hubby Yngwie for his "Eclipse" album)

"Cold winter Night " still today gets voted best album in various polls and Erika´s first three albums have been re-relased internationally and once again sold out .

..and this from a woman who up until 2010 didn´t have an official homepage, neither My space nor Face Book. Talk about a large, devoted fanbase!

And now, finally - good things do come to those who wait;

Late 2010 Erika started work on a new album with Bronco Productions/Matti Alfonzetti and her old teammate Peter Rooth.

That clinhed her decision to redevelop this My Space-page from a fan page to official.

We are humbled and ever grateful for her return!
