In early 2006, the band's illustrious guitarist and its notoriously left-handed drummer met up and started jamming. Ben and Luke got involved in the project by association with Trey. After several casual jam sessions over the summer of 2007, the depth of talent in place was realized and loose organization of songs began.
In what came to be the most impromptu debut of a band of all time, the quartet - soon to be named Mother Nature's Recipe - spontaneously decided to audition for a talent show at UMBC. Leif was called in on short notice (he just happened to be eating lunch downstairs from the stage and heard some suspiciously familiar guitar licks screaming through the air) to lay some vocals down and although this was the first time Bobby had even met Leif, the auditioning committee was smeared in jammy goodness. A few months and a few shows later, Mother Nature's Recipe now has a full repertoire of songs prepared and are ready to share what they've been cooking! More updates to come on the inevitable continuing success of these musical masterminds.

"...dishing out the much anticipated first sunburn of the season, rock/reggae group Mother Nature's Recipe took the stage to serve up their fun sound that shows tham as a band just jamming and doing what they love. It was the perfect sound for an afternoon at the carnival" - Retriever Weekly(UMBC Student Newspaper)

My friends, my bandmates, my musical family; I will miss jamming with you terribly and promise not to enjoy having a real job as much as I would enjoy rocking out hardcore with you all!!! Hopefully this is only a haitus and we can pick it up where we left off sooner rather than later.
Oh, and of course, thank you to all the fans who have supported us of these last few years!!!! We love you for it, and i'm sure i speak for every band member when i say that.
