Yup yup, classics and literature is my bag. If you like Lovecraft then look up Neil Gaiman's "A Study in Emerald" short story. Got Lovecraft elements, I liked it.

How's things? My two days at Rangi have been exhausting so far.
It is exceptionally odd and I've only been there for one day so far! I start proper on Monday. I dunno if I'd want to work there. At the moment I'd say no, but I said that about the last school during the first few days. Now I'd be very happy to work at that school.

That first potentiallity really really scares me. Not cool. Y'all are exaggerating to make me nervous though right? Though, being that my surname is Dick, I'm curious to see what shit I get. I haven't gotten any from the last two schools, one of which was a very low decile rural school. Rough kids, but sweethearts really. I'm going to Rangitoto College, the school I went to school at. Very odd. I witter on about it in my blog though if you're insatiably curious.
I'm training to be a teacher, got a five week placement in a school from next Monday. You might not like the photo, but my costume looks killer and it's the only photo of it! The city is good. Cold but sunny. Um. Not much going on other than that really...
