Love to sew, quilt, knit, crochet, make jewelry, garden (especially water and herb)cook and bake and read when I take the time. Also, LOVE the Knifty Knitter looms. I've learned beeswax collaging recently, UTEE is a best friend and am stamping and painting muslin.Music

About me:
Married for 35 years. Two sons, 28 and 25. One rescued greyhound (our third one)Challenger who is 6, one 17 year old cat, Toonces and one 11 year old, Macy. Plus a pond full of koi and various goldfish. I'm a professional volunteer and do work with our local police department as an auxilary lieutenant, am very active in church and master gardening projects. I love all kinds of crafts and adore to use funky yarns, beads, findings, etc in my work. I do 2-3 shows a year and have a blast. Even make a little money. I worked in the dental/orthodontal field for several years and prior to that I was a firefighter and EMT for our city. In 1992 I was an extra on a Steve Martin movie filmed at the Los Colinas studios in Texas. He is such a great guy. So was Meatloaf. And what a perk to get to see Liam Neeson in person. That's about my only claim to fame. Life is fairly quiet now and I am thankful to have the time to craft and an understanding husband. Our "guest room" houses HUGE bags of yarn, fabric and DVDs. I've quite a collection of sewing machines, some antique, some top of the line new. Life is good.
