Mothman is a band that formed in 1990 and has been consistently performing and recording music throughout the past 18 years. During that time the band has evolved through various styles including hillibilly funk, alt rock, groove metal, improv jam, dark americana, blues, and most recently an acoustic rock band with a hand drums. In addition, Mothman has a variety of reservists who fill in on various instruments ranging from hand drums, mandolin, guitar, keyboards, and vocals when the need arises. The song catalog contains over 250 original songs, and covers from Black Sabbath to Gordon Lightfoot.
We make our money playing cover songs in clubs- specializing in 60's/70's classic rock. We also do a lot of different styles for different crowds- acoustic coffee house stuff, blues/roots rock, stone rock ...
