BIOGRAPHY
Moth's Tales come from Udine, in north-eastern Italy, where they were born in 2002 and where they began arranging songs that were instinctively marked by wave moods. The former members were Caterina Signor, Michele Rossi and Roberto Battilana.
In 2003 the band goes straight self-publishing a full-length album, Decadent Truth, including the acclaimed track 'Sadness'. They then play a multimedia concert conceived together with the well-known artist Giuseppe Zigaina: a selection of his works are projected during the exhibition.
In 2004 they write ‘Raving Eyes’, a twenty-minute soundtrack for ‘Jo Quiero’, a short film about environmental protection.
The second album Obstiné is released in early 2006 and gathers good critics in the national alternative press. Aired at first on the main local radio stations, it later sees worldwide distribution thanks to three songs being included in the ‘United Forces Of Phoenix’ compilation, together with Fields Of The Nephilim projects, supporting them on tour as well.
Since the very beginning Moth’s Tales have been attributed great importance to live shows as the most straightforward way of expressing themselves.
The third album Unknown Portrait (Nomadism Records) strengthens the band's bare and intense style.

Nati a Udine nel 2002, I Moth’s Tales incominciano da subito a comporre canzoni in lingua inglese tinte spontaneamente da umori wave.
Nel 2003 autoproducono direttamente un album a lunga durata, Decadent Truth, che contiene l’apprezzata ‘Sadness’.
Eseguono un concerto multimediale concepito assieme all'artista Giuseppe Zigaina: durante l’esibizione viene proiettata una selezione delle sue opere.
Nel 2004 scrivono ‘Raving Eyes’, una colonna sonora di venti minuti per il cortometraggio ‘Jo Quiero’ sulla difesa dell’ambiente.
Il secondo album Obstiné esce nel 2006 con sonorità più crude e compatte e raccoglie critiche positive presso la stampa alternativa nazionale. Trasmesso dalle maggiori radio locali, successivamente la Nomadism Records ne stampa tre canzoni sulla compilation a distribuzione internazionale United Forces Of Phoenix, assieme a brani degli ex Fields Of The Nephilim e nuove realtà alternative.
Il terzo album Unknown Portrait, primo per la Nomadism Records, rafforza lo stile scarno e intenso dei Moth’s Tales ed è accolto con interesse dalla critica.
Sin dall’inizio i Moth’s Tales hanno sempre dato massima importanza ai concerti dal vivo come canale d’espressione più autentico.
