A candle from Motor City Candleworks is one of the coolest gifts you can get for a Detroiter. Each candle is named for somebody or something special about
Detroit. There's Belle Isle Breeze, Cuppa Joe Campau and The Paczki Priniciple to name just a few. We've got more than 30 named candles in all.
Motor City Candleworks candles are packed with fragrance. We call that our Detroit Scents of History™ since each candle comes with a short history inside the box.
We take pride that besides sharing Detroit history, we are a part of it ourselves. All of our candles are made right here in the Motor City in a shop located inside the old Murray Body Works factory complex, now called the Russell Industrial Center.
We invite you to browse through our website. We have 32 named candles in all, and the histories that we've written about each one is posted. To see the entire selection of candles, go to www.motorcitycandleworks.com
Who I'd like to meet:
All others with an interest and passion for Detroit history and culture.
