PICTURE FOR OCTOBER 2007 Jayuya, PR is a beautiful town and it is very proud of it's Taino heritage. This monument and the museum that goes with it is set to honor the Arawak indians. This race was wiped out by Spanish colonial settlers when they arrived in PR.

Meet the Motorcyclers...
The Motorcyclers sounds like a 60's rock band but it is much more than that. It's a group of friends that have been riding and getting to know each other for a couple of years through our love for bikes, an interest in country riding and the motorcycle forum and internet project at MOTORCYCLER.COM.
Mako...the Shark...
This guy is unique. He can eat faster than you can type. Owns two bikes the "Tiburona" and the "Red Crotchrock". The Crotchrock is a sport bagger but has the heart of a racer. Also the dad of Bibi_sexyyyyy!!! and Kiara(see in friends section)...watchout future prospects this guy is big. Mako is very computer savvy with hardware and software issues.
Yan...the Specialist...
Here seen with his better half Bianca. Yan loves to say "sillas"...dont ask... He has a Roadstar Warrior tricked out with a 240 tire and is another computer whiz that loves to handle tough projects. He is a computer analyst.
Joe...the Wanderer...
Talk about travelling...this guy's been just about anywhere in North and South America. A good friend and a true buddy in the clutch times he is a cool guy. Joe has a Royal Star and chucks up the miles with us whenever he can get some free weekends. Joe works in the chemical industry...
Raymond...the Producer...
Raymond works as a producer for Telemundo. He's much too busy and hardly ever gets a chance to ride. But when he does it's a lot of fun. Raymond runs around in his VTX 1300.
Tito...the Brigand...
Talk about a handful here he is...Opinionated, explosive, cranky, obnoxious and a good friend. He never answers the stupid phone when you call but he is always ready to help and is a great host. Tito has a Vstar 1100 that he never washes.
Roberto...the Flamekeeper...
Always accumulating home points so that he can go out and burn the highway with us. Roberto is the keeper of the calendar flame at MOTORCYCLER.COM. He's got a great bunch of kids and is a great family man...we can call him Mr. Mom. Roberto has a Volusia and loves to go out as much as he can.
Henry...the Toyman...
Henry is true to the addage "he who has the most toys wins"...Never skips a detail and no one could accuse him of being shy or having nothing to say. True, loyal, sharp and to the point. No screw ups enter his kingdom. You can usually find him in his VTX F or his Intruder 1500, or the Spirit 750 or.....
Motorcycler...the Oldman...
What can we say? Nice guy, likeable, good personality...ja ja ja... No we like this stuff, to the core and we'll ride anywhere given a chance. Love country roads, great scenery, photography and making videos. Addicted to the web and showing others how fun life can be just by enjoying good people and good times. Married 33 years and looking forward to life because of him who guides my soul...

Favorite Rides in Puerto Rico...
There are some nice rides in Puerto Rico that are truly scenic and take your breath away. Normally these places are secluded and in the mountains but not always. Here are some of my favorites.
Central Highlands, Puerto Rico...
Stretching from Barranquitas west to Maricao "La Cordillera Central" or Central Highlands is an incredible ride. Filled with twisties and hairpins it makes for a memorable moment. The views of the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of Puerto Rico are common as you travel in the comfy atmosphere of the cool mountain air.
Vieques, La Isla Nena...
This small yet beautiful island is about 15 miles southeast of Puerto Rico's main island. It is accesible by ferry from the town of Fajardo. Both passenger and cargo ferries service the island regularly. On weekdays both passenger and cargo ferries make the crossing regularly. On weekends only passenger ferries operate.

My main interest in photography is nature but once in a while I get a great opportunity to photograph some bikes and it is always great fun... You will see many of Chopperfreaks bikes here...BUT OF COURSE!!! We're good friends!
Canito's Bobchop...the Revival...
Canito's bike is another of the Chopperfreak oriented Bobchops. It was originally a 70's Ironhead that has been extensively modified and redone with a hardtail frame.

One afternoon in Bike Week I wento to Stugis and hung around with the guys in Hank's trailer. Some of the Iron Angels (models) were with him and having nothing to do I snapped off a few shots.

Fidel's Fat Daddy Chopper...In Memoriam...
This interesting piece or rennaisance has a lot of soul behind it. Fidel remade the bike in honor of his dad's passing and it is a nice bike in rememberance of a great human being.

Pepo's Chopper...Is longer always better?
Pepos Chopper is another of Chopperfreaks original bikes but from a different era. When you have been around the industry as long as he has you will see varied styles and shapes throughout the years the fabricator has been building. This chopper is all business and a nice looking deal to boot...
Omar's Bobchop...the Oldtold Story...
Omar's bike is one of the Chopperfreak oriented Bobchops. It was originally a 1970's Fl that has been extensively modified and redone.

Gallegos's Bike...the New Old Story...
This bike I was able to shoot in Sturgis at Chopperfreak's house. It is a nice contrast bike and though she looks old style everything in her is new. Carlos added some nice touches to honor his mother's birthplace in Spain.

Pichigui's Bike...Another Bobchop...
Pichigui's Bobchop is a cross between a surfboard and a motorcycle. Often times he gets up on the seat and looks as if he were surfing the bike. With the jockey shift and foot clutch it makes for an interesting addition to the group.
