Scott's Interests
|
| General | You. Maybe. Design is always of interest. Designing logos, products, culture, images. I love it all. The plucky underdog that is counter-culture ( a very vague catch-all term, I know) always piques my interest. And mysteries of the unexplained, the geekiness of pouring over maps of stonehenge and reading conspiracy theories and spontaeous combustion thrills my plastic heart to no end. | | Music | You can find that out at Last.FM. | | Movies | Breakfast at Tiffany's is probably at the top of the list, I have an undying crush on Audrey Hepburn. And Scarlett Johanson. Anything with Bruce Campbell, Bill Murray or Steve McQueen is cool. The Big Lebowski, Metropolis, Singing in the Rain and Transformers the Movie have all shaped me. | | Television | M*A*S*H, the Muppet Show, Northern Exposure, Red Dwarf, the Mighty Boosh, Sesame Street (late 70's to early 80's, the pre elmo stuff) Mr Dressup, the Young Ones, Mr Roger's Neighborhood, Beachcombers, the Friendly Giant, GI Joe, Night Court, Battlestar Galactica, old school Star Trek (but not the new), the Nature of Things, Mythbusters, Twilight Zone, Lost and then they disconnected my cable. | | Books | Wiliam Gibson, Douglas Adams, the Dalai Lama, Jack Kerouac, Rachel Carson, JK Rowling, CS Lewis, Lewis Carrol, George Orwell, Ray Bradbury, David Suzuki, Dr Seuss, Kurt Vonnegut, Will Ferguson, Douglas Coupland, Jim Munroe, Joseph Heller and a plethora of others have written books that have changed the way I think about things. |

Scott's Blurbs |
About me:
In a small urban area surrounded by rural and suburban sprawl about an hour out of Vancouver by way of car, our hero writes a run on sentence to catch your eye. A designer by day and still a designer by night, I create images that amuse me and concepts that will hopefully change the world. But that is just to boost my frail little ego.

Who I'd like to meet:
You. Maybe. Unless you're a closed minded zealot, then I'd rather spend my time with a person who mattered.
