Hello, how are you! My name is Miguel Ygarza, and I was born in the year that Kaiser Beckenbauer's Germany, with
Breitner and Müller goals, won the World Cup against Cruyff's Clockwork Orange, what a great year!
I founded the Mod Generation Club Madrid back in 1994, making parties every saturday at the Anvick Club, and still going on once a month at the Groovie bar in Madrid.
During the 90's I edited the Mod Generation Newsletter and the Tuset Street Modzine, collaborated in the Go Steady
Modzine, and played guitar in The Eyeliners, but my passion is record collecting and DJ'ing.
I've been spinning records in Hamburg (Hip Cat Club, Rosie's, Molotov, Meani Bar, Golden Puddel and many more), Münich (Target Club, Atomic cafe), Berlin (Astro Bar, Sense-O-Rama Club, Beat Explosion), Frankfurt (Up Club) 2 Men From Linz (Bad Breisig), London (Mousetrap, Crossfire, Le Beat Bespoke...), Venice (Lost in Venice), Pavia (Out on the floor), Rimini (Cloud 9)... and of course all around Spain (Euroyeye, Purple Weekend, Memorial Trip, Fizz and Bubbles, Beat goes on, Go Lleida!, Wet Dream, Shake and Vibrate, October in the Rain, and many many more)
