I try to take the kids every Memorial day weekend.When i was growing up we had a big family reunion every year at the "lil" Methodist church right before the village on Memorial day weekend.we would play horse shoes,swim,& then tour the village.It was really cool. when my grandparents died no one kept up on it so i get as many people together as i can to kinda keep part of that tradition going.Batsto is apart of my family heritage,which is really cool.My Great grandpop Ford is included in the list of names that lived there back in the day.Most of my ancesters are buried in the "lil" white church's cemetery.My kids think that is so cool.
