Influences
MY MOTORCYCLE.... I REALLY RIDE FOLKS... IT'S MY BREATH OF LIFE..... MORE INFLUENCES: The roar of the wide open road, Waylon and Willies' outlaw style, Linda Perry's raw edge and perfect unperfection, the honesty and poetry of Patti Smith, oh Grace Slick's howling authority, Loretta Lynn's lyrical and musical meowing prowess and down-home earthy unapologetic take-me-for-who I am manner, super freak funk and dirty rock country shuffling bad boy biker bassist Mr. Lassiter, a whole lotta Jimmy and Jimi groaning and grinding those strings..., Junior Vasquez ghetto tech DJ mixing and the wholly blending of country and urban: Rench, and the esoteric rocker himself, my amore in musical thought: Robert PLANT...AND, the monster influences of builders such as the Soulful Circus Indian Larry, Walk my own WAY Billy Lane, Hot Love Perewitz, Sweet Sugar Bear....who love to stretch it, bang it, blow it up, and then RIDE THE S(*T out of it. Music and Motorcycles is what the motoroadeo is ALL about. We crave two wheels skimming the road and the swirl of musical notes rocking us down the road...the combination is intoxicating and a receipe for wild, memorable fun. More influences: My burlesque superstar friends: Bambi, Jo-Boobs and Angel Drake! My hoola hoopin idols: Christabel, Heart, Sunny! Kudos to Keith Ball, Dave Nichols and Chris Maida, Darwin....my motorcycle writing mentors....and to ALL my motorcycle family. You know I love you all so deeply. Keith, your early believe in my writing abilities as a journalist has spun in all kinds of different directions. I love you professor! Jay Allen, my former boss of the Broken Spoke Saloon, you will forever be the best honky-tonk boss I've ever had and you know I'll work your bars and play the stage for my BSS. I miss my BSS family! And my beloved music friends who influence me too: Mark Howlett, Rich Travali, Bob Smith, The most awesome and beloved musical pals in the world..... And to all the fans who influence the motoroadeo music - YOU THROTTLE ROCKIN' FANS ARE A TREASURE TO THE MOTOROADEO CREW..... AND GOD BLESS the two-wheeled heavenly scoots.
Sounds Like
The lullabye of an S&S motor, a tire burnout, the buzz of the asphalt, the roar of Vance & Hines pipes, meets rock N roll N motorcycle country soul, with a ghetto edge.

In addition to writing music, Sasha, a lead singer in the group, is a motorcycle journalist, author of Bikerlady: Living & Riding Free!, artist, spokesperson and author of the upcoming book The Chrome Cowgirl's Guide to the Motorcycle Life July 2008 release.
