This year the fun begins on Friday, May 1st through the 3rd. You should be able to find all kinds of helpful information at springscoot.com Because the rally is in May and we here at Twist & Gay S.C. are confident that the weather will be fantastic - we are pleased to let you know that this year there will be a STREAKING contest. We have a dozen streaker patches for the first 12 nekkid people. FRIDAY Sept. 12th 7pm Meet @ FISHLIPS Grill 1517 18th St Bakersfield, CA 93301 (661) 324-2557 8pm night ride ending where we started at FISHLIPS Grill Featuring the Band FattKatt and The VON ZIPPERS SATURDAY Sept. 13th 11am Meet @ FRED CUMMINGS MOTORSPORT (free continental brunch) 2211 Chester Ave Bakersfield, CA 93301 (661) 324-9695 12noon ride leaves - “Killer Kern Route” A 100mi road trip through the scenic back roads of Kern County. A lot of twisties and mountain climbs through Caliente Bodfish road to Lake Isabella and back down though the Kern River canyon to get back to Bakersfield. The ride will take approx 3hrs to complete and will end at Grants house. There are planned stops for fuel and drink breaks which will be supplied by the support vehicles. The FIRST gas stop will be at the Texaco about 7 Miles from the meeting point. 4pm Grants House There will be music, FREE food & drinks(keg beer) and a killer raffle. SUNDAY Sept 14th 10am Meet @ Lorene’s (Downtown) for Breakfast 1531 23rd St, Bakersfield, CA(661) 322-6887 We invite anyone who is still in town on Sunday to meet with us for Sunday morning brunch. Secret Society Scooter Club	Jul 7 2008 10:38 PM Secret Society Scooter Club 25 year Anniversary August 29th-31st. Keep your Sunday August 31st open for Secret Society SC's 25 anniversary at the Casbah in San Diego. The Show is Free. We'll have a ride that meets at Gelato Vero Cafe at 4pm. We have a Gran Turismo of San Diego, and a Free show at the Casbah, hosted by SSSC member and 94.9 jock Tim Pyles. 3 bands and DJ's in the back. Doors open at 7pm, start at 7:30pm. Manual Scan, Down's Family and the Amalgamated perform. Again,this is open to all, and the ride/show are free. Come celebrate 25 years of secret handshakes, ski beach rallies, improper fez usage, Bus driving, Proper rallies, in's and outs, traffic blocking, nicknames, breakdowns, New Sounds of the 6t's, quarters and other assorted Secret Society Scooter club fun. TWIST-n-PLAY Scooooter Club	Jun 29 2008 5:42 PM PLEASE HELP OUR FRIEND AND CLUB MEMBER IN NEED!!! Steve was admitted to the hospital last week with heart trouble, suffered a small stroke early in the week and late friday night suffered another, a really bad one. He will be in the hospital till further notice under constant monitor. He will have plenty of medical bills with no way to pay them, as HE HAS NO HEALTH INSURANCE. He has been a positive influence on the club as a member and former president. He's a mainstay within the the scooter community both through his personal life as well as his contribution to the excellent resource that is PTown Scooters. He's readily helped nearly every one of us out at one time or another; and that while he likes to have a raucous good time that he's a man of integrity, kindness and generosity. Steve is family. ......
