Motosierra hailed from Montevideo, Uruguay, where the quartet came together after the late-'90s demise of Uruguayan acts like Chicos Electricos and Cross.
With influences such as Dwarves, Turbonegro, Puffball, Motörhead, and G.G. Allin, Motosierra's sound was a ramrod blast of fierce punk chording, screamed vocals, and sleaze — put simply, sonic hedonism in fast motion.
Marcos, Luis, Gabriel and Walo debuted with XXX (No Fun) before issuing a series of 7"s and split releases. XXX appeared again on various imprints and for various markets, as did Motosierra's Rules! LP. Other releases included Kick Ass Rock 'n' Roll, a split with Brazil's Forgotten Boys, and appearances on tribute albums to the Ramones, Turbonegro, and Zodiac Mindwarp.

Mit "Give Me The Money" und "Wonder Why" gibt es 2 unveröffentlichte Kettensägenkracher von MOTOSIERRA. Auf der Rückseite wird "Love Song" von DAMNED mit Öl und Rennsprit hochpoliert und zum Abschluß gibt es mit "Chicken Thief" noch eine coole Hillbilly Trash Nummer die auf einen hohen Schnapskonsum im Duschungel Uruguays schliessen läßt.

Betitlen die befreundeten südamerikanischen MOTOSIERRA und CULPABLES ihr Zusammentreffen auf dieser CD-only Veröffentlichung. Die Kettensäge heult erneut auf und sägt mit "I Hate Rock'n'Roll", "Hail Satan" oder "Iron Balls" neben den Cover von SAINTS "Wild About You" und dem weltweiten Gassenhauer "I Love Living In The City" von FEAR meterdicke Baumstämme in Sekunden schnelle durch. Auf der "Rückseite" lassen es die ganz in schwarz gekleideten und eher harmlos aussehenden CULPABLES aber fast ahnlich knallen mit 8 Songs in ihrer Landessprache und erinnern etwas an eine schnelle, überdrehte Version der PLEASURE FUCKERS.

Wie schon beim Horror-Filmklassiker "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" gibt es auch von Uruguays Kettensägenmassaker einen zweiten Teil. Die 4 Herren von MOTOSIERRA betiteln es breitbeinig und mit stolz geschwellter Brust kurz und knapp "Rules!!!". Die 13 neuen Songs und ein mit "Kamikaze Blues" betiteltes Outro der vier Lumberjack-Rocker widerlegen ganz klar die Regel, wonach "der 2te oder 3te Teil immer schlechter" ist. Gewalttätige Granaten wie "No More", "Spacecowboy", "Whisky & Cocaine", "Burzako Führer", "Suck My Dick" und das mit einer kreischenden Frauenstimme und Motorsägenlärm eingeleitete "The Leatherface", welches als Bandhymne gewertet werden kann, können absolut begeistern und sind keinen Deut schlechter als das Debüt. Die schön gestaltete japanische CD-Version kommt mit dem landesüblichen Obi.

Auf dieser CD only Veröffentlichung gibt es insgesamt 14 Coverversionen. Das Quartett aus Uruguay setzt die Kettensäge in Form ihres äußert brutalen Gitarrensounds bei Songs von DAMNED, GG ALLIN, DEAD BOYS, GERMS, KINKS, RAMONES, RADIO BIRDMAN, PAGANS, JOAN JETT und JUDAS PRIEST an, und drückt ihnen damit den unverkennbaren MOTOSIERRA Stempel auf.

Die Band aus Montevideo, Uruguay rotzt ihre Lieblingssongs aus den Genres 60s Punk, Hardcore über Scum Punk bis Street Rock raus. Im Klartext wird hier die Kettensäge bei "Make Up Your Mind" der LOS MOCKERS angesetzt welches mit heulender Mundharmonika glänzt, geht über in den ROSE TATTOO Klassiker "Nice Boys Don't Play Rock'n'Roll" zu "Mujeres Vengan A Mi" von den VIOLADORES sowie "Drunk Fool" von den EVIL IDOLS die beide aus Südamerika stammen. Auf der B-Seite nimmt man sich zwei weitere Klassiker vor, zum einen BLACK FLAG's "Nervous Breakdown" und "Bite It You Scum" von GG ALLIN. Abgeschlossen wird die Seite mit "Girl" von den australischen Gitarren-Rockern BORED. Alle samt brachiale Versionen mit rauhem Gitarrensound und aggressivem Gesang. Das ganze ist in ein grandioses Cover verpackt und zeigt eine Dame in knapper schwarzer Uniform, die aus einem Nazi Camp Exploitation Film oder Comic entnommen ist und hier mehrere MOTOSIERRA Abzeichen trägt. Gestaltet wurde dies von der Label Chefin VANYA, die auch bei NAZIS FROM MARS den Ton angibt, hier aber mit dem Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis bei nur 7 Songs etwas schief liegt, was zum Glück aber durch Musik und Artwork ausgeglichen wird.
