1I am the co-founder of the Motown Review Book Club. We are a small group, bet pretty well know on the Detroit area. We have hosted several authors who have come to our bookclub meeting. (See pictures). We also have hosted several literary events around the city. Not only do we like to read together together, we travel together. Attending literary events our the US of A, but for fun too. Chicago is just a quick train ride away. However, the best part of our meeting in the food, as we all try to outdo one another in the kitchen.
I am employed as a Child Day Care Licensing Consultant by the state of Michigan.
I have a post grad degree in Guidance and Counseling.
I have lived in the Detroit all my life. I recently purchased a condo right outside of Detroit, but am still a Detroiter in my heart.
Just sending a special thank you again for everyone that has helped keep my books, "Stories I Wouldn't Tell Nobody But God" and "Cold Summer Afternoon" on the best-sellers list for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. First up, "Stories I Wouldn't Tell Nobody But God..."
Feel free to check out my profile, here on Myspace or my official website at www.RasheedClark.com, read the blogs, or just listen to the music that relates to what I am writing about.
"Stories I Wouldn't Tell Nobody But God" and it's explosive follow up, "Cold Summer Afternoon," which questions what kind of secrets would drive a woman to commit murder, are both available now at Amazon.com, BN.com (Barnes and Nobles) and where ever quality books are sold. If they don't have it, request that they put it on their shelves.
Buy a copy for you and someone you know that loves a good book. You'll be glad you did. You will want somebody to talk to about these two and will not want to wait until they read yours. Thanks!
I have posted the prologue of my new novel : “Nuttin’ But Death Can Depart Us.”
Meet Genavie, Traci, and Ma’Shawn, the members of Da Sista Hood. Their friendship is bonded by undying love, support, togetherness, and respect. This hood driven drama is set in the heart of Watts, California. Nuttin’ but death could ever depart them until Genavie meets C-Note a wealthy drug dealer from Compton, California. Then all hell breaks loss. La’Vie debut novel is a ghetto tale intertwined with love, addiction, murder, jealously, and betrayal. After a year filled with, squabbles, mistrust, tears, and laughter these teenage girls will examine the true meaning of sisterhood.
Looking for that next good book, then you should know I am mad they didn't tell you about this one...

Thank you for allowing me on your page. This is a brief description of Dear Joseph.
DEAR JOSEPH is about Caregivers, individuals who are assigned to restore the broken frames of fallen lives. In this book, one such Caregiver is Mama Flo, who has been given the assignment of getting a bitter old man out of a wheel chair. Mama Flo must motivate a fallen hero back to his place of compassion and purpose. This book is also about an orphaned boy named Joseph who struggles with the reality that he has been given the gift of having visions. These visions are prophetic and reveal lessons that take him back into time and hurl him forward into the future. The visions take him to the orphanage where he was placed in as a child. The visions help him to remember the lessons that power is corrupting and without God we are nothing. The visions take him to the festering African plains of a refugee camp where he learns about the most important gift life gives which is being able to be grateful. It is my prayer that Dear Joseph will provide a sense of healing and recovery in a fallen broken life.
With much sincerity, for those who discover the extraordinary experience of reading Dear Joseph.
