The ongoing show is a tender tribute to common people and to the enduring value of the plaintive-celebratory music that emerged from country farm fields, front porches and backwoods churches. The shows presented are wholesome live stage presentations with an authentic, raw, traditional leaning. The overall musicianship at each show is very strong and very unavailable to mainstream concert audiences!
Bluegrass/Old-Time/Root Music
Bluegrass is rooted in Mountain music traditions. It consists of close harmony singing and high lonesome tenors, Appalachian Folk, Scots-Celtic tones, Old-Time fiddle, Blues, English folk balladry, old Sacred music, old Country music, Jazz influence's and consists of virtuoso musicianship like never before! It's a 'performance music' that’s meant to be seen live on stage. Its music made by common people for common people.

See & hear the best artists performing on stage at historic St Andrews Presbyterian. The simple grand atmosphere and superb acoustics of Victoria's own little version of the Ryman Auditorium (former Grand Ole' Opry & Mother Church Of Country Music), enhances the earthy loveliness of the music.
The Mountain Jubilee Show is an all-vollunteer run production that has undeniably made the City of Victoria the Bluegrass Capital! With its on-going program, the show is the ultimate fun experience. Since its first conceptional edition in 2003, the show has become the largest and most prestigious event of it's kind in BC... cause there jus ain't no show quite like it!
