Walking hand-in-hand with his ample wife the preacher's son hears an "angel's voice" in the distance. Pulled toward the eeriness of her song he steps forward and comments, "You sound like shifting ice against a sitar's string of dreams." Strangely mesmerized by this haunting melody, he stops to ask her, "Are you enjoying your voyage on the Titanic?" His wife tugs at his arm as if to say, "Get away from her." As they turn to walk toward a most unfortunate evening his wife whispers just loud enough so that her words are audible to all, "I adore your silence."
Sjofn credits Greg Brown for giving her stuff to write and sing about.

Hi beauty! How r u my dear friend!? .. everything Ok in greece ... still long days and nice weather ... did the cold come to your place?? ... warm words and big kss for you
Yep I guess Minn. is close enough to Norway! I too was raised in Minn. I relate to that whiskey song "I'm a looser" I'd like to see you live too someday. Rev.
Thank you very very much, Miss Andersdóttir! I really enjoy listening to your music, especially "Whiskey", which is plainly a beautiful song! I really appreciate your liking my music too, this made my day :) Takk fyrir. Bless!
Dear Sjofn! Nice to meet you! I lived in California for 8 years, but never been to Alaska! I saw you are coming to Germany, come to Romania too, it is next door!
I had my first gig among musicians at the nordic guitarfestival (.com) dunkers culturehouse - played 4 songs and became a rocklegend :-))) (with harmonica )
I listened to your pieces....the melodies remind me of daydreams and waterfalls...but the lyrics are of a more serious intimate kind....vocals...an angelic voice, which is pleasant on the ears....Some songs are a little melancholy ...and you sing and play it with such deep emotion.....It was a musical adventure to listen to your work.... Good vibes and respect to you sjofn
