“Luna Trick effectively marries many influences- think trip hop, glam goth, pre- Let's Dance Bowie, Nine Inch Nails industrial…” (Amazon)

“This CD is so full of interesting songs, musical diversity, and stunning imagery - it's hard to believe that it's the work of one guy.” (Amazon)

“This should appeal to people who like the new wave revival going on in alternative circles - or those that go for dark and dreamy.” (Amazon)

“…if you're looking for a CD that blends rock, funk, indie, and electronic, this is it.” (Amazon)

“At first listen, I fell for the NIN sound, and then I listened again finding threads of so many of my favorite bands like the Cure, David Bowie. This is old school new wave meshed with the best of today’s sounds.

Hey M2-

You are really a cool guy and a real inspiration to those of us that struggle with songwriting. You make it all sound so easy.

Thanks for joining MacJams and introducing me to your fantastic world.

Your pal,

Bob

I like the new song ("Topo's Revenge"). There's really nothing I can say that's wrong with it. It totally captures that jacques Tati-esque kind of wistfulness. The only comment I can make is that you could EQ the bass a little less bassy at the beginning of the piece. The cheesy keyboard sounds set the tone, so the whole thing should be more generic/muzak-y from the beginning. The bass sounds too real or rock for this. Then, when the strings come in and start to provide real emotion, you can restore the regular EQ on the bass. That's my only criticism. Nice laughter at the end. Much more convincing than "Within You Without You"!

1. I'm really surprised you only have 10 (now 11) comments on this page.

2. I still feel free to steal your music, but your music doesn't seem as free to be stolen.

3. Glad to find new stuff on here.

4. I really like the new stuff.

5. Why Mt. St. Helens?

6. If you count each of these as a comment, you now have 17 on this page.

I found you on Sybil's little page, that's the way us nobodies get together, networking.

Anyways, love the music. Change is inevitable, it definitely is nice to see the parallel in some people who were where I was basically at in the mid 80's.

The Kiddymen wholeheartedly endorse the wonderful new Mount St. Helen song "I Don't Know". In fact, several band members have already added the song to their MySpace playlist, and we recommend that you all do the same.

"Kicker of Elves" indeed. You sir are a genius. But what some people don't know is that this song is actually the sequel to the seldom-heard Sybil classic, "Sodomizer of Dwarves."

Put it up. Just so people can listen to it while they are at work. I know its 13 minutes. Eff it. I listen to the whole thing, so everyone else should have to.

Kicker of Elves...wow...what a great title! Good name for a band too. Hey your voice sounds really cool these days! Funny that you're not pursuing a career in music..because of that, you'll probably get offered a record deal...that's the way it works.
