Stroudsburg and Natural Breakdown has some great history for the past three years. If you come out for the show be sure to visit our friends at the Sarah Street Grill (right behind the sherman) for good food and drinks. The Sarah Street Grill was the first room in Stroudsburg where Natural Breakdown played back in 2006. The day was part of a pre & post show party Railroad Earth. If you want to take a listen.

In a time that someday may be referred to as the early years of the twenty-first century, we live and play in this Rocky Mountain region known as Colorado. To some it is just life, another day on the revolving planet. And to others, well it is truly… LIFE! And for those who ride their LIFE with excitement and hope, this place called Colorado is a spiritual playground of rolling valleys and lush green forests - gushing streams and winding rivers, an outdoor fantasy world that lays amid a spectacular backdrop of majestic snow-capped mountains. And for each Rocky Mountain seasonal turn there is a plethora of activities to be unearthed, and so be it from fly-fishing to hiking, snow shoeing to kayaking, from a long day skiing and boarding to simply walking our dogs, we Coloradoans try to embrace life and it’s outdoor gifts to the fullest of our abilities. And although the surrounding geographic eye candy makes for pleasant living- like anywhere on the planet, it is a unique collection of people and their ways, who compliment this pulchritude of scenery. Still higher, this enthusiasm for life is oft driven by a high country spirit that blows like the wind- a spirit and guide that allows us to be open and accepting to the most magnificent of all art- life. Through this embrace of life and contact of people we have arrived at a point that must be taken further. With the creation of Mousike magazine we hope to capture a bit of this high country spirit and ride it through the pages of our own cultural and musical portrait. And it may have been the passing of long time Colorado resident and writer Dr. Hunter S. Thompson that released the spirit, providing a spark and a vision to embark on yet another path of Colorado journalism. So with a bit of Gonzo attitude and a positive light in search of the truth- we aim to create a family business atmosphere, in a vibrant, eclectic hungry magazine. And as Mousike’s Greek definition implies, our goal will be to pursue any art that is presided over by the muses, especially music. In following our muse, we pledge a commitment to not only quality journalism, but to an active role in helping improving our daily existence through community based events and non-profit organizations. With the creation of Mousike magazine, will come the creation of the One World Bus Mission- a Mousike run non-profit division committed to the betterment of our planet through charitable events. Like any periodical magazine, we will evolve over time and react and comment to the events unfolding around us. This is our time, the early years of the twenty-first century. So in our celebratory lives as we sing and dance to the music, we long to create and share with each other this spiritual acceptance of music, art- life. If we can build a positive bond around an entity such as a periodical, then surely with such a zest for life we can make a difference in the community, state and around our globe. We are a state of Music. We are a state of Mind. We are Mousike.
