MOUTH was born in 2005 as the latest incarnation of the continuing Alex/Thew vision: an attempt by two hairy bitches to make the most extreme, aggressive and interesting music possible. The previous attempts, REAL HORRORSHOW and BANG-UTOT were all right, I suppose, but this time we added more yelling, more blastbeats, more interesting song structures and better songs and I think we pretty much acheived our goal! Zero Tolerance Magazine describe DROWN as: "feedback, strained vocals, blasts, and textured, varied tempos."
Tasty Fanzine have described us as "a frantic clamour of extreme racket disorder and experimental noise... Blood curling tortured screams peppered with dirgy fuzz guitars."
Subba-Cultcha say: "...riffs that Converge would kill for... a dense wall of furious riffing, spiteful vocals and a none more metal attitude which takes no prisoners, amazing!"

we have been quiet the last three weeks but we have been working hard on finishing new songs, street-teaming, and preparing for entering the recording studio again.
we are certainly NOT going to be quiet this weekend though..we shall be making plenty of noise this saturday at a biker festival in belper! its gonna be ace..bands, bikes, bars, tattooing, DJ, stalls, and camping! come hang out with us if you can deal with our drinking antics XD

TMH now have a four week break from gigs to give everyone a rest before kicking off the summer with festivals, charity gigs, and headline shows!
We will be using the four weeks to continue working hard towards our album which we are currently writing. We will also use the time to prepare for another slog back in the recording studios (a different studio to the one where we recorded our 7 track EP) so keep checking the myspace for a new song..its going to rip your head off!
The boys then return to action on the 5th July where we will be performing at our first festival since the infamous 'Hydraid' last September. This will be followed up by our headline gig at Junktion 7 (where we will be joined by the mighty SPEEDTHEORY) and our gig at speak easy the very next day. Then its off to worthstock festival in Yorkshire for another weekend of drink, music, and mental...ness.

£25 for the weekend, inc camping (until 1st july) Then it goes up too £30, and then£35 on the door.
**There are 85 bands playing this festival. We are playing on the Saturday night around 8pm on the main stage..with only 3 bands above us on the bill**

The rockfest is from 1pm til LATE, and we'll be pummeling the stage into submission for 30 sweet minutes between 7:30 and 8:00pm.

Friday, changed my world. Well not quite but it was a real blast. Such energy and noise. Oh yeah and top guys too. I did put the cd's in the car and have been scaring small children for miles in every direction. Mwhahahaha. Hope to catch up with you sometime.
