(for Movable Men - whomever we're covering. Incidentally, we are a top 40 cover band - the groups we cover and the groups we actually listen to exist in completely separate galaxies.)
(for original compositions - Dream Theater, Enchant, Rush, Iron Maiden, Queensryche, other groups that lean in the prog rock/metal genre... and Hanson when he's in the mood to mmm bop.) The songs appearing on our site are from Brandon's self made CDs. Enjoy and look for more tunes from both Brandon and Rob!
Other groups we like: Mr. Big (w/ Paul Gilbert), Extreme, KISS, Shadow Gallery (for all you prog rock fans, check this group out), Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, Queen, Yes, Dakota Moon (sadly, another obscure group), The Voodudes

We cover a vast array of material from artists spanning multiple decades and take measures to sound as close to the original work as two people can manage without relying on backing sequenced tracks. Judging by the steady gigs, growing crowds, appreciative applause, and dancing fans, we seem to be doing just fine.
Movable Men consists of Rob and Brandon, two hard working, hard playing gents combining several years (decades, even – yikes!) of music and performance experience. Both have independently showcased their talents in the Tri-State area and have happily settled into their collaborative partnership.
As Movable Men, the fellas have rocked steady for nearly two years. They've included private parties and benefits to supplement their steady gigs in central NJ and look forward to seeing what lies ahead.
Their nightly goal is to unleash a high energy show supporting quality musicianship. Both play multiple instruments and incorporate this diversity in several songs. They thrive on audience interaction and mix off the cuff humor with casual conversations to maintain connection with patrons.
I just heard the new live recording "doing time", sounds like you guys were having a good time playing! Wish I lived closer so I could see you guys play.
