Who are we?
Movement In Motion (MinM) is an artist & activist collective that disseminates information through cultural mediums. We create rhymes, music, films and other forms of artwork to dialogue with our communities. Born and conceived in the south Bronx and Brooklyn New York December 4 2002.
Get involved:
Volunteer, become a member of our community, join a chapter, come to an event. Network and build to fortify and win.
Movement In Motion is a support network for artist & activists.
What do we do?
Creative politics. We use the arts to raise platforms and to communicate to our communities and to the movement. Produce songs of freedom, love, reality and fantasy. Document drama, the soul, the unheard. Illustrate with colors, paint and photographs. Move through dance, silence and our hearts.
What is our Purpose?
To organize artist & activists for socio-economical justice and physical/spiritual/mental liberation. To create and facilitate spaces and alternative media for artists to express and cultivate their work. Informed Activism through study groups and political education sessions.
