As anyone would guess our biggest influence is God, for giving us the oppurtunity to speak on behalf of him, and send a message to those who need to hear it. Also our families, and friends who support us, and the haters who don't lol. it's all good though. Another influence is each other. We feed off of each other. When one of us is down, the other 2 will help get that one back on his feet. We're a team, and we influence ourselves to get better. our music and growth is another influence. .
Introducing Movement of Truth!. What exactly is the exclamation point about, well excitement is the answer, just take a listen to the music of this energetic group. This dynamic trio started for Christ and will claim death before they do it for anyone else. With their unique sound they deliver powerful lyrics, and something that everyone can enjoy. They specify their own genre as "Space Rock." "a lil bit of this and a lil bit of that." The group consists of three individuals: Xavier Adams aka (SpazzY Rocket!), whose name describe how he goes crazy for Christ and lives out of this world, Jamaal Jones aka (Elhae or Work) Elhae(pron. ellay) is an acronym used for Every Life Has An Ending, which is used as a wake up call. Something to let him know that life is short, so always be great at whatever you do. Last but not least Marc Freeman aka (L9:23rd) which stands for the scripture Luke 9:23. They've broken barriers such as being the first christian rap group to open up for tops in blue 2007 concert. They've opened for names such as canton jones, kirk franklin, Irocc Williams, Mr. Del, and more. The highly anticipated second album is due early 2010 entitled "The Hollywood Heartbreak".
--Xavier Adams(SpazzY Rocket!) was born an artist, as a young boy he was surrounded by music, through his father and siblings. If you ever get the chance to speak to him you will hear his Maryland accent come out proudly. Thats right people Xavier Adams was raised in Maryland. He enjoys playing Xbox 360, playing sports games, recording music, and also loves taking his time to talk to people about Christ. Given his interest by a christian rapper out of Maryland he stands apart and raps from the heart. Unfortunately SpazzY wasn't always rapping positively. It wasn't until one Sunday morning at a local church in his town that he got truly saved, and gave his heart to the Lord. Now you see him, as the man he is today. Rapping from his heart and soul., which is why he is often called the soul of the group...
--Jamaal Jones(Elhae) was also born surrounded by plenty of talent. Jamaal was born in North Dakota due to his father in the military. Although his birthplace is North Dakota, he was raised in Savannah, Georgia, where he began an interest in music. Always fascinated by music he would beat on anything just to hear the outcome. As he grew up he learned to become more & more like Christ, and tries hard to do the right thing. Jamaal began as just a singer for the group, but soon started rapping after the influence of Spaz & L9. "I don't really consider myself as an MC, i would consider L9 & Spaz one but not me" laughs Jamaal. But on another he produces for the group and continually keeps Christ in the forefront. He's big on fashion, and keeps his fashion sense at peak, which is why he is often called the Stylist of the group....
--Marc Freeman(L9:23rd). Was born and raised in Ohio. He found his love for music and Christ in the same places, between the church and his mother. With so many life-threatening situations encountered in his child hood, he's often felt like giving up, but never has. God is the answer to his perseverence, and with all of the negatives he's seen, he only uses it to strengthen his broad topics, and skillful wordplay, which is why he is often called the lyrics of the group...
-----The way it's looking Movement of Truth will not only get signed, but will also breach the system and put God on top where He rightfully belongs. As Christians they know he never left the throne, but they will now lift that same throne high enough for the world to look upon. "We're brothers and are a team, and with God on the forefront who can stop us. We just want to reach lost souls for the building of the kingdom, hmmmm....and we love music" laughs Elhae. It is no doubt that their album due early 2009 is highly anticipated. They are definitely on the rise so don't be suprised if you see them on your television soon...with their whacky senses of humour, styles full of color, and cartoons, they'll be easy to spot...
