If you don’t know me from my other myspace I’m Keith. This is my little hobby I like to do in my free time, its called Movie Metal...pretty self explanitory. I don’t know where the idea actually came from but its been something I’ve wanted to do for years now. My recording equipment isn’t what you would call ’professional’ but I did upgrade a soundcard so the song ’The Rock’ is a little better quality than the others. I use Kristal recording software which is free to download and highly recommended for anyone getting into home recording so long as you can configure ASIO drivers. I’m always open to ideas, criticisms or requests for new songs so if you have any please throw ’em my way. As far as members and equipment goes I do it all myself. For drums I either use a Yamaha DXT electric drum set or Fruity Loops 6. Guitars are all done with a Jackson DKMG and a Marshall JFM100 half stack emulated with a Digitech rp12 processor, and for Bass I use some off brand hand-me-down that was spray painted pink...not my choice but it was free and it works so I can’t complain. I think the only vocals thus far were also done by me on the Mortal Kombat song with a detuner effect but there should be more of that to come...cause it sounds pretty cool. For keyboards I use a Yamaha PSR-260. Let me know what you guys think!
I was thinking about it, you should do the Requiem for a Dream theme song. We will definately be at Missy and Ryan's stag and drag. Im looking forward to seeing you there!
