About me: Movies on a Big Screen is an ongoing film festival/microcinema that started in September of 2006 in Sacramento, CA.
We show independent films, documentaries, shorts, host community based special events and on occasion have late night audience participation screenings. Many screenings have had filmmakers and guest speakers in attendance for Q&A. We do digital projection onto a large screen (not a big screen TV). We don’t give out awards in the "traditional" festival sense, but any filmmaker in attendance is welcome to one free can of Pabst (by request).
Fridays: 7pm & 9:30pm
Sundays: 7pm at The Guild Theater
2828 35th St, Sacramento, CA 95817
Thanks for the ad! MOBS rules! I've seen "I Think We're Alone Now," and that was awesome! As awesome as it was, my personal favorite was the Salton Sea movie that had a Q&A with the director, but that's because I have a mild fascination with that area of the state.
