Online Interviewer Tony Farinella is known for his versatility and his ability to interview celebrities from all walks of life. When you read a Tony Farinella interview, you know you're going to learn something new about someone. It's not uncommon for an interview subject to say, "Wow, nobody's ever asked me that question." He strives to bring out the best in people and find out what motivates them and what drives them. Tony's motto is, "If you have a story to tell, I want to hear it." It doesn't matter if you're a veteran actor, a porn star, a football player, or a child actor, Tony gives everyone the same respect and the same understanding.
Tony's thought-provoking interviews have also been quoted in The Chicago Suntimes (three times), The Kansas City Star, and The Chicago Tribune. Tony also shared his story on the David Stein Show, which is a nationally syndicated radio show. Tony talked about his stuttering problem and how he deals with it. He also talked about some of his favorite interviews. David Stein was quoted as saying, "You ask the best questions I have ever heard an interviewer ask." His interviews have also been referenced on Wikipedia.
Tony is also known for his intense research before interviews. Tony reads all of their previous interviews and tries to come up with new questions that will inspire the celebrity to open up in a unique and detailed way. It's not uncommon for Tony to interview someone new every day. That being said, Tony is very proud of his detailed interviews with Saw director Darren Lynn Bousman, Hostel director Eli Roth, and Larry the Cable Guy. Tony has interviewed directors, actors, producers, writers, porn stars, stuntmen, film critics, musicians, bands, poker players, radio hosts, wrestlers, dancers, basketball players, football players, publicists, best-selling authors, child stars, reality TV stars, comedians, and many, many more. Tony has also interviewed many Academy Award winners.
Tony is also hoping to raise awareness on certain issues with his interviews. In the past, his interview subjects have talked about alcoholism, addictions, club feet, racism, and suicide.
Tony's idol is Charlie Rose, and he hopes to one day be half the interviewer that Charlie is. He also looks up to James Lipton as well.
You can also find Tony's reviews quoted on a number of DVD boxes.
But don't take my word for it. Listen to what others in the entertainment industry are saying about Tony Farinella:
