What would happen if five regular guys/film geeks decided to shoot an ongoing TV show about movies, complete with news, reviews, parodies in the form of skits, and many more movie-related segments? And, what if said film geeks also decided to inject their own personalities and particular sense of humor into the mix?
The result would be MOVIES! THE TV SHOW, a unique blend of The Daily Show and Entertainment Tonight… without the insipid celebrity gossip!!!
First and foremost, we would love to tap our viewers directly into the daily goings on of the "Movieverse." They will be able to turn to Movies! The TV Show and find out the latest news on, say, a movie currently in production, or who was just cast in the latest comic book property.
Yes, we know that many filmgoers scour the Internet for such news, but isn’t it much more entertaining to hear it from an enthusiastic film geek rather than reading it on a boring, silent web page? And besides, they’ll come for the news, and stay for the humor! The creators of Movies! The TV Show are so steeped in movie references and pop culture that the amount of parody and skit ideas will be infinite!
However, we aren’t just a bunch of goofballs drooling and hitting each other in the groin for laughs…we also know what we are talking about, we promise. There will be plenty of insightful movie recommendations and analyses. We hope to strike the perfect balance between legitimate critiques and humor, between irreverence and valid information. And, once the show takes off, we hope to attract some very special guests for exclusive interviews.
We want to make our audience laugh, but we also want to give them some insight into the medium they love so much. Movies! The TV Show will be the ultimate show for movie geeks, because it is made BY movie geeks with the same tastes, humor, and passion for film as everyone else out there in Movie Land!

Sports fanatics have plenty of shows from which to get their nightly fix. So do music fans, car fans, dance fans, and surviving-on-a-desert-island fans. So, where’s the show for the average movie fan? With Movies! The TV Show, we plan to speak to the film going young men and women of the world.
There is a HUGE community of filmgoers out there just itching for an outlet. If the multi-billion dollar box office receipts don’t speak for themselves every year, then simply take a look around the Internet. There, you will find many a chat room and message board full of lively, sometimes negative, but always passionate debates on such topics as whether or not a trailer looks good, or whether a certain director is a good fit for his upcoming project.
This show is for anyone who has ever partaken in such a discussion. This show is for anyone who has ever waited in line for two weeks just to buy tickets for a huge blockbuster…only to wait in line AGAIN two hours before the show starts. This show is for anyone who lives, sleeps, eats, breathes, and dreams about movies; it will be their haven for any and all things film!
