My favorite band out right now is System of a Down, but I also like Pantera, Metallica (old-school), 311, Tha Pharcyde, American Head Charge, Beastie Boys, Dr. Dre (old-school) Snoop Dogg (old-school) some Eminem and Xzibit as well. And I've gotta give it up to my boy Mohs! That's it, that's right do that shit! | | Movies | I think we've established this topic already, yes yes? | | Television | My absolute favorite show of all-time is The Shield!!! Following closely behind that is Heroes, Sports Night, South Park, Seinfeld, Chappelle's Show and The Simpsons. I also watch a lot of the poker shows these days and I can't start out a day without getting a SportsCenter fix. | | Books | I'm a HUGE fan of Chuck Pahlaniuk. I've read all his books and they're all damn DAMN good! I also regularly read Elmore Leonard, Mario Puzo, Hunter S. About me:
Someone wise once said that good things come to those who wait, or some shit like that. Well, I'm living proof. After writing for MovieWeb.com for over four years, starting out doing theatrical reviews and moving up to my weekly column, The Week in Review, then taking on DVD reviews, all in my spare time... I finally am with MovieWeb full-time as their DVD editor. I am responsible for all the DVD-related news on the site and I also do DVD-related interviews with directors and actors. The interviews now are all over the phone, but once I'm established, I'll be doing face-to-face interviews and I'll probably get to do some press junkets and screenings as well, if they need me to fill in for a theatrical guy. If all that awesomeness wasn't enough, I get to work from the comfort of my own home and laptop:) It's a damn sweet gig, folks:)
To all my friends and family in Minnesota, I love and miss you all exponentially! I'll keep you all posted about a new phone number or a place, so keep your eyes peeled, suckas!

Katie Holmes (mainly to un-hypnotize her and steal her away from Tom "Psycho" Cruise), Quentin Tarantino, Jessica Alba, Terry Gilliam, Eva Mendes, the Coen Brothers, Eva Longoria, Charlie Kaufman, Michelle Branch, Michael Chiklis, Jennifer Garner, Denis Leary, Salma Hayek, all the SportsCenter anchors and tons of other celebs/filmmakers/gorgeous women.
People I'd like to meet... and then set on fire:
Simon Cowell, the Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears and whatever her husband's name is, Mark Burnett and/or anyone responsible for reality TV, whoever decided it'd be cool to not have music videos (besides TRL) on MTV and others I can't think of right now.
