Square Dancing is my favorite activity. I know it sounds hokey, but you wouldn’t believe how much fun it really is!
Square Dancing is a little like “Simon Says”. You really don’t need to be able to dance to have a great time. The fun and the challenge is in knowing your right from your left and listening to the caller and doing what he says.
It’s a great physical and mental exercise, and when you get out on the floor all your problems just go away. There have been times when Richard and I went into a dance mad at each other - Yeah, sometimes that happens :) But, the minute we started dancing, all that went away and things were right again between us.
We’ve made so many great friends through Square Dancing too. You can dance anywhere. All calls are in English, even in other countries.
We travel together on cruises, go on exotic vacations and just plain have fun!
For the past 6 years my husband Richard and I have been Avon Representatives and we totally LOVE what we are doing. In fact, last year I quit my high-pressure day job to pursue Avon full-time.

Who I'd like to meet: Oprah Winfrey is a person I truly admire. She has a strong inner core and lives her life based on principle. Since the beginning of her life, if she wanted something- she created it ... just because she knew she could. Done and done. That is an amazing gift to have. She has defied almost every odd to achieve a life and career that most only dream of.
The quality I respect most about her is that she genuinely does what she does for the betterment of mankind. There seems to be few out there who live their lives to enrich the lives of those around them. Oprah even surpasses that, she strives to enrich the lives of everyone in the world and gives from the bottom of her heart!
Through Oprah I am reminded of what it is I need to keep in the forefront of my actions - helping others simply to help. As I progress in my personal development I will aim to follow her leadership and always be of service to those who need me.
