- Born in 1983 MOsley WOtta (aka Jason Graham/MOWO) moved from the city of Chicago to Bend Oregon when he was nine years of age . It wasn’t until he moved to Oregon that MOWO began to explore rap music beyond popular radio. Listening to the works of artists like Atmosphere , Aesop Rock, Saul Williams helped Graham to understand the greater reaches of Hiphop culture. As a result his personal beliefs in hip hop became more inclusive. Each show is meant as a forum for thought, humor and honesty; key components to meaningful human interaction. The “MOsley WOtta” moniker has a deeper meaning, beyond its light hearted word play.
The idea that “we are all mostly water” is a metaphor that finds its way into all of Grahams work . Like Muddy Waters or Howlin Wolf, the name represents our character style and message that which will live on after we pass . The Name carriers the message, and this case the message is commonality.

He first officially joined the Hiphop Group “Person People”in 2005 . . MOsley WOtta at the time know as Herein Rookery met founding band member KP at Oregon poetry slams and was invited to join the then seven member group. Among freestyle competitions, cyphers, slams painting, and poetry MOsley WOtta continues to coalaborate with other artists and organization. He is a regular guest speaker in and around Oregon schools. Locally MOsley WOtta has worked producer MUD, emcee's Cloaked Characters, and live band Empty Space Orchestra to name a few of the many talents in Bend Oregon.
