Moxy Bullets Biography:
Moxy Bullets are a bunch of major dudes. They are respected for their catchy hooks, crystal-clear vocals, and power pop rhythms which summarize this amazing four-piece Pop/Rock/Alternative band from San Diego, California. With amazing overtones reminiscent of early Pop/Post Punk Rock Modern era artists such as The Replacements, Joe Jackson, and The Tubes; Moxy Bullets are on the verge of stapling a sound of their own. Moxy Bullets have been playing together for four years, and they met - via craigslist - after relocating from Chicago, New Jersey, Arizona, and Northern California.
With an amazing melodic singer leading the way, a pianist on guitar, a guitarist on bass, and a drumline geek playing the drumset, Moxy Bullets has played their simple but punchy melodic rock at a number of venues all over, especially in the Southern California area including Canes, 710 Beach Club, Radio Room, Lestat's, The Ruby Room, The SD Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, Qualcomm Stadium, 2009 Kick Gas Festival, San Diego Pride Festival, Orange County Festival, Frog n Peach in San Luis Obispo, KilKenny's (Redondo Beach), The Jumping Turtle (San Marcos), Dream Street, The Rhythm Lounge, Brick by Brick, San Diego Sports Club, and many more.
Moxy Bullets have just finished working hard in the studio with Producer/Engineer Roland Lee Ware II on their self-titled debut full length record released on Rdub Recordings on October 2nd of 2009.
