............ ....Myspace Layouts.. at Pimp-My-Profile.com / ..Brown moon.. .. Hello everybody!! My name is Lara Mondlane aka Queen Lariusus, Im a proudly Mozambican Poet. I've been writing for almost ten years now. I write in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Xangane....for now...love experimenting... In 2003, me, Gabriela and Marina (very good friends of mine) created a poetry group and we call ourselves LAGAMA. We started performing our poems in our home in Cape Town. Our friends liked it so much that we ended up performing once a week at our friends places. It sort of became our weekend get together. It was a lot of fun. In 2004 we did our first performance in Maputo @Cafe Gil Vicente (in a proper venue this time). And once again we had an awesome response from the audience back home. We were on TV, on the papers and went for Radio interviews, etc. It was all so new to us. From then on we've been performing in proper venues both in Maputo (Mozambique) and Cape Town (South Africa) ha ha Beijao Gente Boa... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oi pessoal! Sou Poetisa Mocambicana de corpo e alma. Escrevo tanto em Portugues, como em Ingles, Espanhol e Xangane. No ano de 2003, eu; Gabriela e Marina (grandes amigas minhas) criamos um grupo de poesia, que tem como nome LAGAMA. Comecamos por fazer sessões de poesia na nossa flat em Cape Town. E gracas ao feedback positivo que tivemos dos nossos amigos, passamos a declamar para eles (e outros) uma vez por semana. E foi sempre muito divertido! Em Janeiro de 2004, demos o nosso primeiro show em Maputo/Mocambique (terra mãe) no Café Gil Vicente. E uma vez mais tivemos um feedback super positivo do pessoal la de casa. E tem sido muito positivo, pois vale sempre a pena corrermos atras dos nossos sonhos...beijao... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
