M.P.D.Q. is a combination of two bands Making Piranhas and Drama Queen. In 1998 the electronic industrial Boston based band Making Piranhas was created a cross between NIN, Ministry and Skinny Puppy, Making Piranhas landed many shows on the east coast opening up for major acts such as Godsmack, Staind and God Lives Underwater and released two cds one self titled 'Making Piranhas' and the other titled 'Ur Face'. In 1999 Making Piranha's founder Greg met Pamela (Fly and Finch Family) and formed a band dubbed Drama Queen an ambient melodic, electronic rock group that played many east coast shows and released a cd titled 'Universal'. Since the two bands were gigging together a decision was made in 2000 to consolidate both bands calling themselves M.P.D.Q., relocating from Boston to California in 2001 M.P.D.Q. released the cd 'Blood from a Stone' . January 2003 marked the release of a ten song cd titled 'Pain, Love, Misery'. M.P.D.Q. continues to play the westcoast and released a 10 song cd entitled "The Damage Is Done" in September 2006
