Welcome to my home on MySpace! My name is Matt and I'm a 28 year old native of a little town called Rockledge in Florida (25 min from NASA). I've been married for two and a half years to Amber [see photo album] and I am a University of Central Florida Alumni with a bachelors in Political Science. Our first child, Kaiden Matthew, was born February 8th, 2008 at 6:46pm. It’s been a great life-altering experience that I thought would be too much for me, but one that I have come to cherish. We have a beautiful baby boy and it is still hard for me to believe that I had a hand in his creation. For once in my life I can honestly say god has blessed me.
I have a lot of hobbies and interest that keep me occupied. Of coarse they have taken a backseat to some degree at the moment while most of my attention is concentrated on my son. I do love to ride motorcycles! I had a 2006 Kawasaki ZX-10 [which was stolen], now I have a 2008 CBR1000RR Limited Edition and a 2008 Kawasaki KFX 450R quad [see albums]. I am also into shooting, and I own a Walther P22, Glock 26, Glock 17. I did have a custom build AR-15, but I sold it so I could add some things to my new bike. I am also an avid gamer and right now my game of choice is Mass Effect with a little Battlefield: Bad Company thrown in for some online play.
As I mentioned earlier, I have a BA in Political Science so I follow politics pretty closely. I am an ardent supporter of the Second Amendment. There is a segment of the population [Liberals] that would have you to believe that this important amendment simply relates to states having the ability to form militias [i.e. the National Guard]. Anyone that has read the Federalist Papers would know that the Second Amendment's purpose was to allow civilians the means to rise against the government when it ceased to be a government of the people, by the people, for the people. Also, in every other amendment, the word "people" has been interpreted to mean the individual person, why would the same definition not apply to the Second Amendment? Just as our Founding Fathers did against the British and just as I am afraid we might have to do in the near future, we the people must have the ability to rise against our Government when it becomes the bureaucratic pawn of special interest and crooked politicians [on both sides]. On June 26th, 2008 the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the 2nd Amendment.
There is a plethora of problems with our government and despite what the media [a liberal institution] tells you, its not Bush's fault. But what can you expect, the President is always the face of despair, when in actuality, he has the least amount of control over the country when compared to Congress [regardless of political affiliation]. Our government is increasingly becoming not the “of the people, by the people, for the people” system it was designed to be. Our political system has its wires all crossed and both parties have lost sight of the original ideals that each party had built their platforms around. Just remember, the blame for the problems of today should be shouldered by those of yesterday who created the means and avenues of deceit used my most politicians irrespective of their political party.
Peace out and don't take shit too seriously!
