Any free time on weekends is good for us. We don't really plan on doing anything but chill, so you're more than welcome to make the drive up. Things aren't terrible by any means, but it's certainly not easy.
it's was pretty nasty, as anticipated. there was surgery on an obscenely obese leg/ankle at one point. i got bored with it though and started reading the new murakami novel.

Not so much tan as SUNBURNED! We befriended an old man on his 71st birthday and his son-in-law had this awesome boat that my friend and I hung out and drank beer on...quite an unforgettable experience.
